Thai Basil Fried Rice

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 Thai chili, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup Thai basil leaves
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Set aside.
- Turn on the STS (Sauté-Then-Simmer) function on the rice cooker. Add oil, then sauté onion, garlic, and chili until fragrant.
- Add the cooked rice and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir-fry until rice is evenly coated.Push the rice to one side and crack an egg into the empty space. Scramble
- until mostly cooked, then mix into the rice.
- Stir in Thai basil leaves and cook until just wilted. Serve hot.
