Chicken Ginger Rice Cooker Congee

Ingredients

  • 1 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1-inch fresh ginger. chopped
  • Chopped green onion for topping

Directions

  1. Add rice, water, broth, chicken, and ginger, into the rice cooker pot.
  2. Leave the lid open and press the Cook switch. Let it cook for 50 minutes. Stir occasionally and check consistency.
  3. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Garnish with green onion before serving.
